WHO IS TEAM KANSAS?

Team Kansas is a collection of KSRBA youth members who have worked hard to improve their knowledge of rabbit and cavy breeds, husbandry practices, history of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and MORE! This group of members is carefully selected and placed on teams to represent the KSRBA and the state of Kansas (or District 5) in competitions at the current year's ARBA National Convention.

We also strongly encourage youth to sign up for individual events, most of which run concurrently with the team events!

WHAT TEAMS CAN YOU APPLY FOR?

JUNIOR DIVISION (9 TO 11 YEARS OLD) 
Junior Breed Identification Team

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION (12 TO 14 YEARS OLD)
Intermediate Breed Identification Team
Intermediate Judging Team

SENIOR DIVISION (15 TO 18 YEARS OLD)
Senior Breed Identification Team
Senior Judging Team

HOW TO JOIN?

Each year we ask KSRBA youth members that plan to attend the ARBA National Convention and who are interested in competing on one or more of the above teams to submit an application to the youth committee for selection. Applicants are required to compete in at least two qualifying events between the Kansas State Convention and application deadline of July 1, 2024. 

When Team Kansas is full, your application will be submitted to our District 5 director for a chance to be placed on a District 5 Team. This is another great way to represent the KSRBA at the ARBA National Convention!
